Stoneware Victorian Lidded Chamber Pot

Description;
You are bidding on a Stoneware Lidded Chamber Pot, or Commode, an item no home could do without. It has a high luster white glaze with No chips, cracks or repairs. both pieces are in excellent condition. It would make a great decorator piece with a plant or flowers. There is an embossed pattern of dots around its middle as well as in a circle on the lid. The Pot handle is a scrolled applied handle, with an applied handle on the lid. The mark on the bottom of this piece is a Bell, ( see photo).

This rustic vintage Terracotta water jar is a true Earthenware with a classic bulbous body tapering off to a thinner bottom which is flat.It has the typical light reddish brown terracotta color, There is a pattern of four stripes around it's circumference, and repeating marks on the applied handle, also one stripe around the rim in the same color brown. It is marked (partial), in Romanian on the bottom, ( see Photo). "T i M I S," ( Timisoara, Romania ?). This great looking museum quality piece has a genuine old world feel.

Antique Primitive hand-craved folk art wooden Duck Decoy. This duck has glass eyes and is a highly detailed piece. We believe although you will find many hand painted decoys on line especially in ebay, you will not see this one often. It is typical of the females more earth tones not the bright markings of a male. There was a second that I recall seeing, which has been sold. Primitive in style yet in my opinion truer to nature than most other decoys. The detail in the carving alone is remarkable in this folk art yet functional piece.

Built by master craftsman Mr. Penrose, Licking County Ohio circa 1800-1899 . This magnificent one of a kind sideboard / buffet offers lower storage with large paneled doors with beaded trim and button pulls. Paneled sides, One large center drawer includes a lock, elegant Hepplewhite style drawer pulls with antique brass like finish. Two smaller top drawers (also locking). Dropped center with arched splash, turned finals. Front legs are Fluted columns with turned feet. The top front corners of the smaller drawers have turned spools. 15 Inch Bronze Cupola Bell

Description;
Cupola bells range in size from 12" to 24" brass bronze or iron. usually with a mounting complete for swinging with yoke, clapper, and rope arm.

The Cast Bronze Cupola Bell you are viewing here comes as is, ( not assembled, could use a cleaning). The upright is of heavy cast Iron with a bolt base for mounting, measuring 13.5 inches inside the forks at bearing, 19 inches outside. widest point in the bow of the upright is 21 inches, it is 19 inches tall from bolt base. The yoke is of the same material, there is a #16 foundry mark on the yoke. The bell it self is cast bronze measuring 12 inch diameter, and 15 inches tall. There are no inscriptions or legible marks. This Bell was originally mounted on a train.
This is sold without the cart shown here,( but we'll let you use it to take it to your vehicle in the parking area.), in 2 pieces, weighing ( I would guesstimate), 90 lbs and 60 lbs. It's big, it's heavy, bring 2 strong men.

American, Lived 1882 Indianapolis, Indiana - 1969 Kent, Ohio.
Active: Indiana .
Simon Baus, was born in Indianapolis, and except for a few trips to the Southwest, he spent most of his life in his native city. He received his first instruction in drawing under Otto Stark at Manual Training High School, and later he entered an
evening class conducted by William Forsyth. Upon the opening of Indianapolis Art Association's school, Baus studied under J. Ottis Adams, continuing there as a part-time student until 1911. Baus painted many notable Indiana people ( Governor Emmett Branch ) during his career as an artist, which he supplemented financially by working in the Indianapolis Post Office as a postal clerk for forty-five years. In 1966, Baus moved to Kent, Ohio, where he died three years later.

Lg Victorian Antique Renaissance style gilded mirror

This larger than life Fantastic Victorian Antique Renaissance style framed mirror is a rectangular glass (cleverly hidden in an oval frame) in very good condition. The frame is molded fiberglass, comprised of drapped fabric rosettes, and cords on the sides and bottom with a cherub on the top of the frameand antique gilded to resemble a vintage wall mirror. It stands 5' wide and 6' tall, and is heavy. (details supplied to the seriously interested).
